I am grateful for so many things in my life.

I am grateful for my parents, who taught me to be thankful for what I do have…that there is always someone less fortunate. Mom and dad allowed me to dream…to try things…to spread my wings and fly…that’s mom and dad on the left in the Duke Ellington Orchestra photo.

I am grateful for my brother Greg and his family. I would not be on the threshold of my literary future without Greg’s support and encouragement…we both share a passion for boating …life doesn’t get any better than being in the cove off Robins Island, with the family on The Viking.

Greg’s son, Ryan, designed this website…I am so proud we shared this experience together.

I am grateful for my daughters, Becky and Bridgette. Of all the hats I wear, the proudest hat is being their dad. Watching them grow up has filled my heart with joy. I am so proud of both of them.

I am grateful for my friends, who have always unconditionally supported me…

Friends like Josh and Jenny, Ed and Sue, have been part of my literary inner circle every step of the way.

My high school buddies Pete and Jim have shared so much of this journey with me.

Publishing a book is as difficult and daunting a task as becoming a professional athlete.
